The large 13 x 5 pneumatic tires provide smooth transport on snowy or icy surfaces. An enclosed gearbox protects the gears from the corrosive rock salt or ice melt. The stainless-steel axle and impeller shaft will keep your spreader performing season after season. Depending on the material being spread and speed of application, push spreader can cover 25,000 Sq. Ft. or roughly 1/2 acre on one fill. A hopper cover, deflector and grate are included to keep the material dry and to narrow the spreading pattern to prevent unwanted material from being applied onto your lawn.
